Queensland’s Logan City Receives $30M Boost for Housing Infrastructure

Logan City in Queensland is set to receive a significant boost in housing infrastructure with a $30 million injection from the Queensland Government’s Residential Activation Fund (RAF). This funding will support the construction of over 8,000 new homes in the region.

Two crucial infrastructure projects will benefit from the RAF funding. The first project will receive $20 million towards a $61.3 million development in the Flagstone Priority Development Area, paving the way for 3,350 new homes. The second project, the Yarrabilba Dollarbird Drive Intersection, will get a $10 million boost out of a $20 million budget, enabling 4,900 new homes to be built in the Yarrabilba PDA.

This announcement follows a previous RAF project where $136 million was allocated to a vital wastewater treatment plant in Logan.
